Dampers
Flamgard-Calidair Inert Gas Retention Damper is designed
retain Co2 or other inert gasses to extinguish fires in Gas
Turbine or other power generation installations. The
Flamgard-Calidair type CRD-01 Damper has endured a
severe testing programme by major Gas Turbine
manufacturers to prove its outstanding inert gas retention
capabilities. The Damper can be provided with a wide
range of pneumatic and electrical controls or with
simple manual operation.

The type CRD-01 Gas Retention Damper
has been
specifically designed to meet
the rigorous duty
required in an environ-
ment where robust
construction and
dependable operation are of

importance.
These versatile dampers are suitable for
automatic
and manual operation and are
used for retaining
the release of an inert
gas extinguisher during
a high temperature
event.
To ease installation all
dampers are supplie
d with pre-drilled flanges and
are designed
to be suitable for mounting in any
attitude
with the airflow in either direction.
