Flamgard-Calidair Fire Dampers

Flamgard-Calidair Fire Dampers are fitted into ducting
systems at the point the ductwork penetrates a fire
division within a building. The fire damper is installed to
maintain the integrity of the division at the point of
penetration and should have the same fire rating as
the division.

Key Features:
•Maximum 4 hour fire rating accordance with
BS476 part 20 maximum module sizes 2100 mm
x 2500 mm
•Low leakage in accordance with BS EN 1751 class 1L
•Low pressure drop
•High temperature operation for smoke control.
•Designed to accommodate cyclic pressures
•Can be used as combined control and fire damper.

Flamgard-Calidair fire dampers are designed to meet
the highest safety requirements. Fitted to ventilation
duct penetrations of fire rated divisions, a Flamgard
fire damper will protect adjacent spaces from the
transfer of fire and smoke ingress via
the ductwork system.

CFD-01 Description:

The type CFD-01 Fire and Smoke damper
has been designed for building into walls,
floors or bolting or welding to steel bulk
heads. The damper has been successfully
tested in accordance with BS476 and IMO
Resolution A754, and is certified by Lloyds
Register of Shipping and DNV for A0, A60
and H120 rated divisions when suitably
lagged.

To ease installation these dampers can
be supplied with pre insulated controls,
and are designed to be suitable for
mounting in any attitude with the airflow
in either direction.

CFD-02 Description:

The type CFD-02 Medium Duty Fire and
Smoke damper has been designed for
building into walls, floors or bolting or
welding to steel bulkheads. the damper
has been successfully tested in accordance
with BS476,and is certified by Lloyds
Register of Shipping for A0 and A60 rated
divisions when suitably lagged.

To ease installation these dampers can be
supplied with pre insulated controls, and
are designed to be suitable for mounting
in any attitude with the airflow in either
direction.

CFD-C1 Description:

The type CFD-C1 Fire Damper has been
designed to fit into circular ductwork
systems where space is restricted. The
Damper has been successfully tested
in accordance with BS476 and is certified by
Lloyds Register and DNV for AO, A60 and
H120 rated divisions when suitably lagged.

To ease installation these dampers can be
supplied with pre insulated controls, and are
designed to be suitable for mounting
vertically with the air flow in either
direction.

CPR-01/2H Description:

The type CPR-01/2H Pressure Relief Fire
Damper has been designed for building
into walls or floors with the air flow upwards.
The damper has been successfully tested in
accordance with BS476 for 2 hours.

To ease installation these dampers can be
supplied in modules.

FD-02 Description:

The type FD02 Fire damper has been
designed for building into walls, floors
or bolting or welding to steel bulkheads.
The damper has been successfully tested
in accordance with BS476 and IMO
